YuMe is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Support Engineer with exceptional organization, communication and technical skills. In this role, you will assist both our internal advertising operations group and our publisher base with campaign and delivery related issues, as well as serve in a technical support capacity for Publishers during the pre-sales process (e.g., customer demos and working with Business Development team). You should be highly energetic, entrepreneurial, technical, and be able to think quickly in a customer oriented environment.

You will work directly with our AdOps, Account Management, Engineering & Product teams to develop the value of YuMe Platform and align these solutions with customers. Working closely with YuMe’s world-class engineering team, you will help resolve technical challenges reported by our customers. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical aptitude with precise written and verbal communication skills. This candidate will be able to speak to technical and non-technical audiences with ease.

Responsibilities:
• Handle pre-launch and post-launch technical support
• Align YuMe’s Platform with customer requirements
• Work closely with Business Development and Engineering teams to align expectations and drive YuMe’s Platform integrations
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships to further advocate best interests of YuMe and our customers
• Scale partnerships from a technical standpoint

Minimum Qualifications:
• 2+ years of technical sales or technical support experience.
• Must have a solid understanding of online advertising – ad networks, ad servers, ad exchange, etc
• Strong scripting experience with JavaScript or ActionScript
• Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be proactive, self-directed, detailed, and organized
• Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated multi-tasking ability
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of various video player technologies
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Flash (as2/as3), Flex, Charles, HTML, HTTP
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience using Salesforce.com
• Experience in a Unix/Linux environments
